As you all know we were nominated for 3 awards at The Herald Scottish Fashion Awards. The event took place last Sunday the 15th in Grand Central Glasgow. The place looked amazing and I've never seen so many well dressed people under the one roof.
It was a fabulously fun night and we all went with several family members in tow to support and enjoy the night together. The atmoshphere was buzzing and all the nominees, several which we were up against were just amazing! It's great to see so many local influential fashion brands and makes you realise what a great time we live in to have such an array of fashion choice at our finger tips.
The event started with a drinks reception (which I was late for and missed the great team photo below) which was sponsored by Menabrea Birra, a seriously tasty beer. We were then lead through for a fabulous 2 course meal and an inspiring special guest speech from Mark Shayler who has worked with companies such as Samsung, Nike and Amazon. This then lead on to the awards... the exciting part!
We were nominated for Best Scottish Online Retailer, Best use of Online Marketing and our personal favourite The Peoples Choice. We got a Commendation for The Best Use of Online Marketing! We were chuffed to be recognised for the hard work that our personal Marketing Stig Drew puts in. The guy is a genius when it comes to Online Marketing and if it weren't for him many of you may not have heard of us.
Leaving the best part till last we would like to thank each and every single one of you that voted as we walked away with The Peoples Choice Award!!!! This is the award we were super excited about because it's you guys that make this company what it is today. If that wasn't good enough they revealed we won with 89% of the votes which is just overwhelmingly amazing. We asked you guys to vote for us if you felt we deserved the award and you well and truly delivered. We made sure to celebrate which resulted in the worst ever hangovers on the Monday but it was bloody worth it!
